Two Produce Safety Field Days are scheduled for April. The program at the Horticultural Crops Research Station in Faison is  April 6, the program at the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center in Mills River is April 13. Both field days will provide hands-on experiences and demonstrations of produce safety practices in a packinghouse. Attendees will also learn about cost share and marketing opportunities. The Mills River program will utilize the new apple packinghouse at the Mountain Horticultural Research and Extension Center.
