Annual Meeting
New Date: Monday, February 16, 2026, 8:00 am - 3:45 pm
Where: N.C. Cooperative Extension, Moore County Center, 707 Pinehurst Ave., Carthage NC.

- Update from NC Farm Bureau on Labor + State and National Issues; Ms. Ashley Thomas, Specialty Crops Program Director, NC Farm Bureau.
- Orchard Floor Management Update; Mr. Wayne Mitchem, Regional Orchard Floor Management Specialist, NCSU, UGA, Clemson.
- Updates from NCDA&CS Marketing; ;Ms. Khalia Daye, NCDA Marketing Specialist.
- Forming a Food Safety Plan + Food Safety Update; Ms. Elena Rogers, Area Specialized Agent, Agriculture-Fresh Produce Food Safety.
- Peach Disease Control and Fungicide Update; Dr. Dave Ritchie, Plant Pathology, NCSU.
- Peach Insect Management Update; Dr. Jim Walgenbach, Entomology, NCSU.
- Grower Panel.

Registration fee per person (includes lunch): $35.00 at the door. RSVP is requested to provide head count for lunch. To rsvp, email Evan Chappell, ekchappe@gmail.com. For those who have already mailed their registration, the registration will transferred to the new date. If you have paid but are unable to attend on the new date, please email Calvin Phillips, Secretary/Treasure of the Peach Society, to request a refund (phillipscte@aol.com).
