The NC Peach Growers’ Society will host their Annual Meeting on January 22, 2019, at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Moore County Center in Carthage, NC.

This year the annual peach meeting will be include numerous topics such as marketing, breeding, pest management, and cultural management practices. Pesticide credits, (2 hours of N,O,D, and X) will also be available. For more information regarding the meeting, please contact the office at 910-576-6011 or download the registration form.

There will also be a FDA Mock Orchard Inspection on January 23 at Pee Dee Orchards Inc, 11279 US-74, Lilesville, NC 28091. This will be a great demonstration of what to expect when farm inspections begin in 2019 and what as growers can expect from the inspectors. This inspection will not only be beneficial for peach growers, but all produce growers in the state.
